Assorted Signings From JC's & High
Schools In & Around SoCal--(May 2,1998)

Not many details but just some basic information:

Ben Sanders (6'-4" So. SG) from Fullerton Community College (JC), has signed with San Jose State

Melvin Farmer (6'-0" So. PG) from Rio Hondo College, via Lynwood High, has signed with Utah State. Last season he averaged 27 points per game, and managed 6 assists per game.

Jimmy Miggins (6'-7" Sr. SF/PF) from Riverside's Arlington High, has announced he will play at Golden West Community College. Jimmy, along with Ronnel Mingo, was one of the two top SoCal prospects for the JUCO level this season. Both Jimmy and Ronnel will be high D-I prospects in two years.

Justin Love (6'-4" So. SG) from Canada College, will play for the St. Louis Billikens next season. Justin was the MVP of the Coast Conference Southern Division this last season.

Finally, in the high school signees, Occidental College has signed David Murphy (5'-11" Sr PG) from Los Angeles' Daniel Murphy High School.
