Artesia's "Best In the West
Summer Shootout"-- (May 12, 1998)

Artesia is holding a summer version of the "Best in The West", which is aptly named the "Best in the West Summer Shootout". Catchy, no? It will be held at Artesia High, June 25-28.

The 32-team field includes most of the top teams in SoCal, and most of the teams that will figure at this coming winter's "Best in the West", including Artesia, Dominguez, Mater Dei, Westchester, Fresno Central and Clovis West, University of San Diego High.

As soon as we get the full schedules, we'll have a more complete report.
