4th Annual Belmont Shore Basketball
Club Boys' Camp--(May 19, 1998)

Dinos Trigonis is doing it again! Saturday & Sunday, June 6-7, 1998, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day at Long Beach City College. And for only $75.00. What a deal.

The 4th Annual Belmont Shore Basketball Club Boys Basketball Camp for grades 3-8 (elementary and junior high) is designed to teach young players the fundamentals needed to succeed in every aspect of the game. The instruction will feature post, perimeter and transition play, and the camp will also feature some great instructors and guest speakers, including:

Steve Lavin (UCLA Head Coach), David Greenwood (Verbum Dei Head Coach, former UCLA and NBA player), Dave Miller (USC Assistant Coach), Michael Holton (UCLA Assistant Coach), Paul Hoover (Shooting Stars), Jason Levy (Portland Assistant Coach).

The Belmont Shore Basketball Camp for Boys Grades 3-8 has provided affordable basketball instruction for the past four years. Past guest speakers/instructors have included Pepperdine coach Lorenzo Romar, Roy Hamilton, Long Beach State Assistant Head Coach Clyde Vaughn, Vanderbilt assistant Chris Walker, Levy, Lavin, and Greenwood.

And in case you didn't know Dinos' credentials, here's a little bio: Dinos has directed camps and events for the pas 10 years. He is the head coach of the Belmont Shore Basketball Club, based in Long Beach, a traveling team attending tourneys throughout the country. Dinos also organizes and directs the Nike Martin Luther King Jr., Holiday Challenge (with some help from Phil Gatton) held annually at Pauley Paviliion, the Long Beach Fall Hoops Classic (one of SoCal's top traveling team fall tournaments), and the Eddie Jones All-Star Classic. Dinos also publishes the Fullcourt Press recruitring and scouting service newsletter, which covers SoCal high school and JUCO players. He has also served as a voting member of both the Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West selections and SLAM Magazine's All-American Team ballotting. In addition, he serves as a coach at the Nike All-American Camp held in July in Indianapolis.
