23 9:15 p.m. 2 Northern Nevada All Stars v. Team Utah
24 9:15 p.m. 3 Inflight Elite v. Oakland Slam-N-Jam

Here's some limited information on some of these teams:

The BWBA teams are coached by Bob Gottlieb. Word is that they will include Jimmy Miggins of Riverside Arlington, and Ed Estevan of Palisades (one of the many Ed Estevans-- like the George Foreman family, he's got three or four brothers, all named Ed Estevan).

The Pump 'N Run teams feature that play everywhere guy Gilbert Arenas from Grant (who is playing in more leagues and on more teams than you can imagine now), Glen McGowan of Venice , Aerick Sanders, Earl Lewis, Doyle Cole, and they are coached by, we believe, Dave Goosen.

The IEBP teams, are coached by Keith Howard, and will include JaQuay Carlisle, Trenell Eddings, Brandon Martin, and David Joiner.

Oakland Slam 'N Jam will include (we believe) Justin Davis, Blandon Ferguson and Jovan Harris.

Rockfish will supposedly feature Brian Wethers, ShanTay Legans (who won't be attending UCSB because he's just a junior (we look for him at a prep school or to go to the NBA :-), Rafael Berumen of Simi Valley, Dalron Johnson of Verbum Dei, and Eric Seiss, and if this team's got nothing else, it will have some height.

Top Prospects is Dartagon Stamps' outfit (man, he looks an awful lot like Byron Scott) and will feature Fairfax' Joe Shipp, LA High's Leroy Dawson, Westchester's Lou Wright, Crenshaw's EJ Harris, Fairfax' Jason Morrisette and others.

We're also told that DC Assault will feature future NBA stars Keith Bogans and Dermarr Johnson both of DeMatha High fame, both of whom are just juniors this season, but who are both well worth the trip to Dominguez hills this weekend.

We're supposed to be getting the full rosters, although Phil Bryant is a bit reluctant to fax them ahead of time, because they're really voluminous, but we'll keep trying to convince him to send them (hint hint).

If you're coming from the South, take the Harbor Freeway (the 110) North, and get off at Figueroa. Go North to Victoria Street, and go right (east); continue to Avalon, and make another right, and continue down to University; turn into the school and park behind the south side of the gym. From the North, take the 190th street exit off the 110 Fwy, and make a left (the school is to the east). Continue to Avalon and either continue straight (to park in the North Campus lots--in which case you'll have a nice walk through the campus to the gym) or turn right and follow the directions above.

If you're coming up the 405 from the south, get off at Figueroa, and make a right, to Victoria, and then follow the above directions. From the North/West on the 405, get off at 190th street and follow the 110 "from the North" directions.

And in case any of that was unclear, here's a map (courtesy of MapQuest and Infoseek) with some of the larger dimensions, so you can see where you're going:

See you there.
