Myron Piggie, Jr. Will Not
Walk-On At UNLV--(April 20,1998)

In our preview of yesterday's Snapple Eddie Jones' All-Stars, we wrote that Myron Piggie, Jr. (6'-0" Sr PG) formerly of the CMH 76'ers and more recently from Hargrave Military Academy, who reportedly signed with UNLV would not be a scholarship player but would instead be a "walk-on".

After yesterday's game, we spoke with Piggie in the locker room, and he said that he will be a scholarship player and not a walk-on. Oops again.

Myron is looking forward to finishing school soon (he says the "post-grads" finished in March, but that high school seniors--he's repeating his senior year-- have to go until June). After that he'll probably head out to Nevada early.
