More LA Valley College JC Signings--(April 22,1998)

Leon Brisport wasn't the only Valley College player to sign. Yesterday, North Texas State officially acknowledged that they've received a signed LOI from Faheem Nelson (6'-8" So. PF). Faheem, from Bullard High in Fresno, averaged 10.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this last season.

Nelson is the third Valley College player to sign. Last fall, Germain Chase, a guard with the Monarchs, signed with Montana State, and yesterday, URI officially acknowledge signing Brisport.
