Television Coverage Of High School
Playoffs: City & Southern Section--(March 6, 1998)

Several of the games being played in City Finals and Southern Section will be televised. Since we're always accused of forgetting the girls' games, we've also included the schedule for one of their games as well. If you can't make it down to the Sports Arena, don't fret. Both the boys' and girls' City Section 4-A games are being televised tonight. Here's what's up.

Friday, March 6:

5:00 p.m. : Fox Sports West 2: Last night's Santa Margarita vs. Compton Southern Section Division II-AA championship game is being televised on a tape delayed basis. Not ever cable operator provides this channel (if you have Century cable, forget it).

6:00 p.m.: On KLCS, Channel 58, the Narbonne vs. Palisades girls' game will be shown live.

8:00 p.m. : Again on KLCS, Channel 58, the Westchester vs. Manual Arts boys' City Section 4-A championship will be shown live.

Saturday, March 7:

8:30 p.m. : Fox Sports West 2: Live-- Artesia vs. Long Beach Poly, boys' Southern Section Division I-AA basketball championship. Don't miss this one if you can't make it down to the Pond.

Sunday, March 8:

6:00 p.m. : Fox Sports West 2--Tape Delayed-- Glendora vs. Pacific, boys' Southern Section Division I-A basketball championship. You'll probably know the result of this game before you watch it, but tune in anyway to see Casey Jacobsen light it up.
