Shantay Legans Named Channel League MVP
and Santa Barbara County Player of the Year--(March 25, 1998)

We just knew this was going to happen, but we didn't know when: Shantay Legans (5'-10" Jr. PG) from Dos Pueblos High School, was named Channel League MVP and was also named as the Santa Barbara County Player of the Year. Way to go Shantay, and congratulations from all of us at SoCalHoops. We're looking forward to many more good years to come from you, man.
