5th Annual "We Care Games"
Starts Today--(Dec. 6, 1999)

Get ready for So Cal Tournaments, Round 2. Now that the first week's boys' tournaments are finished, it's time for the second week of tournaments. The 5th Annual We Care Classic (which is now called the "We Care Games") will get going today at LA High School. LA boys' coach Hernando Plannels sent us the pools and the schedules, and while this tournament won't have the high profile temas of years past, and it won't be hosted by Manual Arts (the Toilers are not participating this year) it's still a good chance to check out the City Section teams to see what kind of quality we can expect over the course of the season. The games get started today and run through Friday, December 10, with 4 and sometimes 5 games a day, beginning at 4:00 p.m., and concluding around 10:00 p.m.
