Cerrito Valley Christian Tournament

St. Monica 75 Rancho Alamitos 56

The Saint Monica Mariner's had a five point lead at halftime, went on a 14-2  run to start the third quarter and cruised to a 75-56 victory in pool play of  the Cerritos Valley Christian Tournament. The Mariner's (3-2) were led by  junior forward Sean Cole's 19 points and 13 rebounds. The Mariners had four  people in double figures. Senior forward Bomani Bragg chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Sophomore guard D'Angelo Bijole had 12 points and junior  guard Lance Washington had 11 points, 3 3-pointers and 6 assists. Cuby  Vantich of Rancho Alamitos led all scorers with 20 and Bryan Maxwell poured  in 18 points.

St. Monica faces Brentwood and Rancho Alamitos faces Anaheim High in pool  play on Thursday.
