cathedral city winter tournament

We got an e-mail from coach Rob Hanmer at Cathedral City, who with his counterpart at Palm Desert High School, has organized the 3rd Annual Desert-City Winter Basketball Classic. The tournament has been going on since Monday, December 6, and it will wind up this weekend with the Championship games at Cathedral City on Saturday. We can honestly say that the e-mail we got looked a bit strange, from a bracketing point of view, but we've done the best we can to make some sense of it. It looks like the two Championship semifinals will be tonight at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and the final will be played tomorrow night at 5:00 p.m. at Cathedral City High School. If we're wrong, we're sure we'll hear from somebody about it. If we're correct, then go and have fun. Here's the schedule:
