Scores & Recaps: All The
Boys' Dec. 15 Games--(Dec. 16, 1999)
We've tried to get as many of the scores and details of games taking place all over the SoCal area as possible from Tuesday, December 15, and we think we've gotten most of them. The recap for just the scores is listed first; details follow below. If you know of a score or a result we missed, send us an e-mail, or post it up on the message board. For the tournaments, they're organized alphabetically by the name of the tournament; for non-league games, the best we can do is organize them alphabetically using the first letter of the winning team.
We will continuously update this page throughout the day following the games, so if you don't see a score or the details, check back later. . .

Brea Olinda 76, Mission Viejo 70-- (From the OC Register, by Steve Fryer) Brea Olinda's 76-70 victory over Mission Viejo on Wednesday in the first round of the Anaheim Convention Center Holiday Basketball Classic was their first game without point guard Curtis Levine, who has a hip condition that could be debilitating enough to keep him from playing basketball the rest of his life. Levine said Wednesday that he is uncertain about the specific nature of his hip problem, pending further consultation with doctors. But he is concerned that his senior season, and perhaps any basketball future, is over. But without Levine, Brea still managed to find some combinations which worked. Landon Lewis scored 22 points and Ryan Moore added 21 for the Wildcats, who improved to 4-2 and will play Esperanza in the second round tonight at 6:20 at the Convention Center. Mission Viejo (3-5) will play South Gate in a consolation bracket second-round game today at 6 p.m. at Villa Park High. Brea trailed, 17-14, going into the second quarter but rallied to take a six-point lead at halftime. The Wildcats extended their lead to seven after three quarters.
