[Note: These are the program notes we wrote for the Official Best in the West Program. We know for a fact that many of the team profiles were edited to save space in the program. So, we thought we'd at least make some use of the original material by posting it up here. Additionally, with some of these teams, we've already done previews here at SoCalHoops, and where they exist, we'll link to them.

Pasadena HS (Pasadena, CA):  Coach Tim Tucker believes this might be his deepest Bulldog team in years. Last year they lost in double-overtime to Gahr in the SS-CIF Semifinals in Division II-AA, and Tucker returns almost everyone from that team, including several potential D-I prospects, such as Doug Thomas (6'-9" Jr. C), a talented junior big man, powerful inside and an excellent finisher who is getting attention from Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA and UMass. At the point, the Bulldogs are led by Reggie Harmon (5'-8" Sr. PG), a blindingly-quick ballhandler who can score and dish. Josh Duncan (6'-5" Sr. F), a first team All-Pacific League player is a versatile inside-outside threat with good post moves. Dino Wilburn (6'-3" So. SG), a young player who played last season as a freshman, has matured and he'll be a big factor. Marcus Munn (6'-3" Jr. SF), a transfer from Serra who didn't play last year due to a stress fracture, should be an effective scorer. Johnny Eubanks (6'-3" Jr. SG) is a good shooter, as is Ian Solemani (6'-6" Jr. SF/PF), a transfer from Monrovia.  Others who may see time are Derrick Andrews (6'-3" Sr. SF), Kenny Story  (5'-10" Sr. PG), a backup point from Alberquerque, NM who gives Harmon fits because he's actually quick enough to defend him, Wesley Pope (6'-2" Sr. SG), Terron Redmond (6'-3" So. SF), Israel Miller (6'-2" Jr. SF),  Travis Bean (6'-3" So. PF), and Norman Johnson (5'-7" Sr. PG). Any one of them could see action during the Best in the West.
