[Note: These are the program notes we wrote for the Official Best in the West Program. We know for a fact that many of the team profiles were edited to save space in the program. So, we thought we'd at least make some use of the original material by posting it up here. Additionally, with some of these teams, we've already done previews here at SoCalHoops, and where they exist, we'll link to them.

Crossroads HS (Santa Monica, CA):  This could be Crossroads' year to again challenge for a CIF SS Division IV A title; last year they were runners-up in the CIF-SS quarterfinals. They are led by Isaiah Fox (6'-10" Jr. F/C), and Felipe Williams (6'-4" Sr. SG), two of the top prospects in SoCal. Isaiah is one of the more skilled big men in the talented junior class, with a nice soft touch around the basket and good footwork to go with his excellent size and strength. Felipe is the only player remaining from Crossroad's State Championship team with Baron Davis, so he'll be counted on for senior leadership. He's a great pull-up jump shooter, selected three times All-State, Freshman of the Year, and All-Southern Section last season. Running at the point will be Anthony Locke (6'-0" Jr. PG) a talented ballhandler, who will be backed up by Ari Levin (5'-9" Sr. PG) and Adrion Thomas (6'-0" So. G). Two or three other guys will figure in the backcourt: Nick Forman (5'-8" Jr. PG), Joe Abrahams (6'-2" So. SG) , and Kai Oredugba (5'-10" Fr. G) the only freshman on the team are all excellent shooters.  At the wings, look for returnee Kris Lofgren (6'-6" Jr. SG/SF) and Jordan Rush (6'-5" So. SF/SG) a very talented slashing athlete with an excellent shot, as well as Martin Usher (6'-0" Jr. G) and Nick Pfeiffer (6'-3" Sr. F). Andy Richards (6'-4" Jr. PF) and Doug Hall (6'-5" So. F) a transfer from Venice, provide excellent depth.
