Tournament Update--(Dec. 28, 1998)

We got another e-mail on this one, this time from Tom Virgets of Central Florida Community College and he sent us some updates.  Wow.   Fresno Washington Union and Deshawn Stevenson upset again.  Fresno Edison (aka EBO's Willie Johnson and Chris Lopes) also lose to FOH's Matt Logieand Josh Fisher.   Looks like Stevenson had more than half of Washington Union's points.  Trouble in paradise.

Tournament's best game of the day with Matt Logie leading MI with 29 points while teammate Josh Fisher added 18. Willie Johnson led Edison with 29 points while teammate Chris Lopez added 18.


Clearwater 72
Washington Union 42

Clearwater raised thier record to 6-3 with a mild upset over unemotional Washington Union who drops to 8-4. 6'8" Pervis Pasco led the Tornados with 27 points while All-American DeShawn Stevenson led the Panthers with 26.
