Games & Tournament Results From Tuesday--(Dec. 12, 1998)

Yes, there were a lot of games going on around SoCal on Tuesday, and most of the tournament action that wasn't already underway on Monday got started on Tuesday.

In various non-league games, here's what happened Tuesday:

Buckley 64, AGBU 33-- Buckley (Liberty League, 1-0) won it's season home opener by pounding AGBU, (Valley League, 0-1) last night at Buckley.   Jeremy Howard (6'-5" Sr. F/C) scored 11 points on 5 for 6 shooting, and Sasha Rahban (5'-11" Sr. SG) scored 12 on 5 for 5 shooting from the field. Interesting Fact: These teams played back to back games, and this one was the Monday game.  On Tuesday, Valley Torah beat Avalon 63-54.  The games are played back to back to reduce travel costs for Avalon, and each school playing Avalon in leauge play alternates locations.  For example (and all other Avalon opponents) will  play two at Avalon, and the next year two are played at the opponent's home court.
