Errick Craven Named By Daily Breeze
As Athlete Of The Week--(Dec. 17, 1998)

Errick Craven (6'-1" So SG/PF) was named by the Daily Breeze newspaper as it's "Male Athlete of the Week" today.  Errick, who also has a twin brother, Derrick (6'-1" So. PG/SG) was instrumental in helping Bishop Montgomer to the championship game in the El Segundo Tournament with a 73-68 victory over Pacific Hills, and he helped Bishop Montgomery won its fifth straight Tuesday with a 95-47 victory over Schurr in the first round of the La Canada Tournament.  Errick was named the El Segundo Tournament's MVP, and averaged 17.5 ppg, and collected 26 rebounds (total), 16 assists and 14 steals over the course of the tournament. Coach Doug Mitchell told the paper, "Errick has a chance to be one of the best players, if not the best, to ever come through Bishop Montgomery."
