Edison International Tournament
Results & Schedule For Semis--(Dec. 10, 1998)

Sure, we're running behind.  But there's only so much we can cover, and once again, better late than never.  This is a 16 team tournament which got underway on Tuesday and is being played at the Anaheim Convention Center. Here are the results from Tuesday:

Brea Olinda 62, Sonora 58-- Jerett Skrifvars made two free throws with seven seconds left to secure Brea Olinda's 62-58 victory over Sonora in an Edison International tournament first-round boys' basketball game Tuesday at the Anaheim Convention Center.  Neither team led by more than six points. With less than a minute remaining, , Sonora's Kurtis Levine sank two three-pointers to tie the score, 58-58.  After Kyle Dodd made two free throws for the Wildcats, Sonora missed a shot on its next possession.  Skrifvars then was fouled and stepped to the line, making both free throws for the Wildcats (1-1).
