In another consolation game, Serra lost to Bakersfield 69-60.

Pasadena defeated Palisades to take 9th place yesterday in another game we didn't get to see, because it was at 3:45 p.m. and we were still on the road, but here's the box score, with the score by quarters:

For Pasadena, Reggie Harmon had 1, Justin Davis had 10, David Ball had 2, Vahan Parseghian 6, George DeJohnette 12, Jason Ridley 10, Josh Duncan 14, Kevin Richard 9.  For Palisades, Reggie Fritz had 12, Steve McMaryion had 11, Eric Alvarez 5, Edward Estaven had 5, Isaiah Sago 3, Paul Park 2. Alonzo Wimberly 2,   Elliott Higgins 4, Ikem Chukemerlje 7, and Rob Nielson 3.


Bishop Montgomery lost to LB Jordan which took 5th place in the 5:20 p.m. game, by a score of  56-47.

For Jordan, Darren Peterson had 14 points,  and Travon Bryant had 18.  Nick Tamarao had 2, Eric Gathrite had 2, Craig Calloway had 6, Gary Grant 8, and Wilfred Lucas had 4.  For Bishop Montgomery, Derrick Craven had another big scoring game with 17, Kenny D'Oyen had 10, Gabriel Hughes 5, David Colbert 3, Leland Dodd 3, and Marvin Perez 9
