3rd Annual Reebok Compton
Tip Off-Classic Today--(Nov. 29, 1999)

In about 10 minutes, the 3rd Annual Reebok Compton Tip-Off Classic will get underway.

There will be four games scheduled, and unlike last year, which had the event spread over several days, this year there will just be a single day of action, but it's going to feature some great matchups. Here's what's up today:

3:30 p.m. Ayala (Chris Pacana, Marcel Burke) v. La Jolla The Bishop's School (Nick Booker)
5:00 p.m. Pasadena (Douglas Thomas) v. Serra (Aerick Sanders, Doyle Cole).
6:30 p.m. Long Beach Jordan (Travon Bryant) v. Perris (Jontae Vinson)
8:00 p.m. JW North (Isaiah Bryant) v. Compton (??? but they have a new coach, Gerry Winston).

This event has been one of the premier kick-off exhibitions of the past two seasons, and its one you won't want to miss this year either. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students at the door.
