Mira Costa Defeats Orange
Coast College--(Nov. 21, 1998)

The Orange Coast College men's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, losing on its home court to Mira Costa, 80-72, on Friday night.    The Pirates trailed 37-31 at the half, but encountered a tough night, shooting the ball miserably, and hitting only 28 of 78 from the field, and shooting a disatrous 6 for 33 from behind the arc.

Mira Costa's Connan Moore hit for a game high 29 points, shooting 11-18 from the field, and the team shot 48% from the field and 5-15 from three point range.  Terrail Zoller led Orange Coast, which is now 2-1 on the season,  with 14 points and nine rebounds, while Jeff Beeler (Torin's older brother) contributed 12 points. Carlos Reyes added 10 points and four assists.
