Burlison: The Rest Of The
"Fab 15" Listings--(Nov. 3, 1998)
Setting aside differences of opinion, here are the rest of Burlison's "Fab 15" selections. According to the OC Register, the selections were based upon 75 ballots from 66 college coaches and nine scouts (for scouting services or recruiting newsletters). Players received six points for being selected to a first-tema ballot, five for second, four for third, three for fourth, two points for fifth, and one point for a sixth team ballot. As for how Carlos Boozer (6'-9" Sr. PF) from Douglas High in Juneau, Alaska was chosen as the No. 1 player, each voter also selected on player they believe to be the best college basketball prospect in the West.
We've already done the "Fab 15" First team, but at the risk of repeating ourselves, here it is:

Not a bad list, but there are still lots of players who didn't make it who we would have selected to the third team or more had we been voting. Maybe Frank will send us a ballot next year :-). And even if he doesn't, we'll still be doing our own selections.
