Mike Dunleavy Selects Duke--(Nov. 16, 1998)

Mike Dunleavy, Jr., has selected Duke over UNC.    Mike is an outstanding player, a great shooter, agile, quick and runs the court as well as anyone in the senior class.  Congratulations to Duke and to Mike.

Mike will be joined at Duke by Nick Horvath (6'-10" Sr. C) from Shoreview, Minn., USA Today named Horvath to its honorable mention prep All-America team, while USA Basketball last summer chose him for one of 12 roster spots on the team it sent to Moscow this past summer for the inaugural World Youth Games.  Add Casey Sanders (6'-10" Prep. C/PF) from Tampa Prep, and Jason Williams (6'-3" Sr.  PG) from St. Joseph's in Metuchen, NJ.  This team will be hot for years to come.
