Craig Calloway Visits CSUN
For Exhibition--(Nov. 2, 1998)

Craig Calloway (6'-0" Sr. PG/SG) was in the stands yesterday at the Matadome for the game between the CSUN Matadors and the Double Pump California Midwest All-Stars.  Calloway was taking an official visit, and said he really liked the school, but would have to talk it over with his parents. He also said he wasn't sure about signing early and believed that a few other schools, like Pepperdine and Long Beach might still get involved with his recruiting.  He did say that he had no additional official visits planned yet.  Craig was visiting with Andre Larry, whose family is very close to Craig's.   If CSUN gets him, he'd Craig would be a great addition, because even though Northridge is very deep, with two and sometimes three players at each position, point guard is one spot where they are not especially deep, and Markus Carr will need help next year along with Jason Crowe.
