Aaron Abrams Is A Patient Man:
Will Wait Until Spring--(Nov. 12, 1998)

Aaron Abrams (6'-5" Sr. SG) from Rancho Buena Vista High, will not sign during the fall signing period which is currently underway, but instead will wait until the spring. Abrams visited Fresno State and San Jose State last month, but his coach, John O'Neill, said Tuesday that Abrams wants to take three more visits.  "He's getting more calls now, schools like Villanova," O'Neill told the Frenso Bee. "He'll wait."

Aaron is a great open floor player, a fine shooter and excellent rebounder who has the handle to cover the point and the quickness to defend the best opponents.  He played this summer on the Pump-N-Run team which featured Gilbert Arenas (6'-4" Sr. SG/PG) from Grant High (Arizona), Cayce Cook (5'-9" Sr. PG) from West Hills Chaminade Prep (undecided), Kent Dennis (6'-3" Sr. G) from Reseda Cleveland High (undecided), Brandon Moorer (6'-7" Sr. F) from Los Angeles Manual Arts High (Texas A&M), Cameron Carr (6'-8" Sr. F) from West Linn High in West Linn (undecided), Oregon, Mike Dunleavy (6'-7" Sr. SG/SF) from Portland Jesuit, Portland, Oregon (undecided), Bo Segeberg (6'-8" Sr. F/C) from Serrano High in Wrightwood (Cal State Sacramento) and Eric Rowher (6'-8" Sr. C) from Burbank High in Burbank (undecided).

We're certain that by the end of the season, Aaron will be a high major prospect and that you'll be hearing more from him in years to come.
