Aaron Abrams Recruiting Update: Big East?--(Nov. 17, 1998)

Aaron Abrams (6'-4" Sr. SG) from Rancho Buena Vista, one of the most intense competitors around, a sort of Miles Simon look-alike who played with Mike Dunleavy Jr., on the Pump-N-Run I team this summer, is getting some serious attention from Villanova, George Washington and Texas, in addition to the schools who originally recruited him, Fresno State, Wyoming and Dusquesne.  "I've always liked the Big East. I'm from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and it would be great to play there.   Texas would be good too, because they've got Rick Barnes, and G.W. is interesting because they just signed the guard from D.C. Assault, Val Brown (6'-0" Sr. PG)."

Aaron will sign late in the spring, and we'd expect a few more schools, especially some Pac-10 schools to get involved with Aaron. In addition to his great ability to run the floor, shoot and slash to the hole, he's a great student, with a 3.3 average and fully qualified.
