UC Irvine To Host NCAA
Clearinghouse Seminar--(Oct. 15, 1999)

UC Irvine will host a seminar for prospective college athletes, on November  3, 1999. The seminar will provide information to players and their parents who want to learn more about the recruiting process.  Information will be available on standardized tests, core courses, grade point averages and the NCAA Clearinghouse, according to UCI Director of Compliance Keith Shackleford. The event will run from 7-9 p.m. and cost $15 per family. Deadline to register is Oct. 20. Call (949) 824-4690.  This is an invaluable seminar to attend if you are interested in playing in college, and will present information that you'll need to be familiar with as soon as possible.
