Josh Moore Rejected By UCLA?
Looks That Way--(Oct. 1, 1999)

It looks like Josh Moore will not be a UCLA Bruin after all this year. He was recently cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse to play Division I basketball after not completing the necessary high school curriculum (which was how he got out of his National Letter of Intent to attend Rutgers that he signed last spring), Josh apparently attempted to enroll at UCLA this past Wednesday, but, according to Tracy Pierson at Bruin Report Online, he was turned down, and other sources tell us that he could not meet the UC admissions requirements. According to Jim Downs, it looks like Moore will attend either a JC or a prep school. But for now at least, it looks like the dream of a 7'-0" huge guy in the middle (one who is definitely bigger than Dan Gadzuric) is just that, i.e., a dream.
