USC Hires Another Farmer
To Secure Their Get--(Oct. 13, 1999)

Our friends over at Recruiting USA, have a way of discovering even the smallest detail, including one that we're betting a lot of people don't know concerning the verbal commitment of Desmon Farmer to USC:  It seems his commitment was a little more solid than most people anticipated because in addition to offering Desmon the scholarship, Coach Bibby, and his assistants Dave Miller (largely responsible for sheparding the recruitment of Farmer along) and Silvy Dominguez and new assistant Paul Mokeski were astute enough to figure out that they needed a new video coordinator, and they decided to hire Desmon's brother Tim, as the new full-time graduate assistant video coordinator.  Smart move. But then Bibby does have a degree from the University of California, after all.  :-)
