Joey Busch Commits To CSUN--(Oct. 10, 1999)

According to a report published in the LA Times this past weekend, Joey Busch, (6'-8" So. PF) has made an oral commitment to attend Cal State Northridge, according to a Chaffey College assistant coach. Busch, a sophomore, transferred to Chaffey from Concordia University in Irvine and averaged 15 points a game last season. He is a graduate of Upland High, and will provide some much needed height and size in the frontcourt for the Matadors, whose biggest players this season are Andre Larry (6'-9" Sr. PF) and Brian Heinle (6'-9" Jr. C), and since one of them will be gone next year, Busch will provide some timely help up front.
