Eric Rowher Visits Air Force--(Oct. 6, 1998)

We were informed that we had it wrong about Eric Rowher (6'-9" Sr. C) from Burbank High, when we wrote that he was interested in Navy. He won't be riding in any submarines, but he will be visiting the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs this weekend. We hear that coach Reggie Minton is really looking forward to seeing the big guy in a Falcon uniform, but we don't know how they'll squeeze his frame into the cockpit of an F-111 fighter. Eric is also looking at some other Big West, WCC and WAC schools currently, and unless he absolutely falls in love with Colorado Springs (hey, they've got some of the best road cycling and mountain biking in the country!), we'd expect him to wait until the spring to sign. We'll keep you posted. .
