Chris Clark Commits To UC Riverside--(Oct. 1, 1998)

Chris Clark (6'-6" Sr. SG/SF) from Glendora High has committed to UC Riverside.  This is a huge pickup for Riverside, which will go D-I this season.  Riverside will be eligible for post-season play by the time Chris is a sophomore under the 3-year rule, and by then expect them to be affiliated with a conference like the WCC or the WAC (in whatever shape the WAC is in by then). 

Chris is an athletic wing forward, very active on the floor, a good rebounder, and accurate out to three-point range, although with the offense run at Glendora, Casey Jacobsen mostly gets the call to shoot from the perimeter, and Chris mostly gets the call to set screens, which he's pretty good at doing.    Congratulations to UC Riverside and Chris Clark.  Now they just have to work on that really big 6'-10" center with size 20 shoes :-).
