Dan Shell To Oklahoma,
Scott Garson To Utah--(Sept. 2, 1999)

Dan Shell, a graduate of Cal who last year was an assistant at Pepperdine, has been named as the new Administrative Assistant for basketball at the University of Oklahoma.  Shell, who's brother Jeff was formerly an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fox Sports Net, the regional sports cable, was named as President of Fox Sports Networks, overseeing Fox's cable sports programming and distribution, so maybe we'll be seeing more Oklahoma games here on the West Coast now. . . :-)

Scott Garson, also an assistant in charge of video at Pepperdine last season under Lorenzo Romar has been named as an assistant coach at Utah, where he will also be a graduate student.  Scott is a graduate of UCSB, has worked the Pump camps for several years and was also an outstanding player in high school for Harvard-Westlake, where he was selected All-CIF.
