Marcus Moore Update:
Not At WSU?--(Sept. 10, 1999)

Yesterday when we wrote about Mike Malloy making the Washington State basketball team as a walk-on, an admirable feat, but certainly not unexpected with a player of Mike's caliber (don't forget, he gave up full rides at several other D-I's in order to attend WSU), we also noted that the official Cougar sport's site for basketball had not yet updated the rosters there to reflect the addition of Marcus Moore (6'-4" PG) who graduated from Compton Dominguez this past June and who reportedly signed a scholarship agreement with the Cougars sometime in August after Marquis Poole (who is still listed as being on the WSU roster) didn't qualify.

Well, it seems that reports of Marcus joining Washington State's team may have been premature. We now hear reports from up in Pullman that Marcus has not enrolled, and may not be enrolling after all. No one seems to really know the true story, so we'll endeavor to find out this weekend. At least for now, Marcus is not enrolled and is not listed on the official Washington State men's basketball team roster.
