More Players To Showcase At IEBP
Fall Classic Shootout Tonight--(Sept. 23, 1999)

We got word that in addition to the other players already identified as playing at the 2nd Annual IEBP Fall Classic Shootout, there will be some other names not previously mentioned. Dennis Kingsland, Erik Scott and Chris Vernon (all juniors), Marcus Allen (soph) will be there from AB Miller, as will Thomas Shewmake and Gerald DeVance, two sophs from Cathedral City High School.

We neglected to mention in our last reminder that the event will actually be held at the "Old Men's Gym" on the campus of UC Riverside. We spoke with Keith Howard, who tells us that there will be quite a few college coaches on hand tonight, and it's also anticipated that the UCLA coaches will be in attendance checking on DeMarcus Williams (6'-9" Sr. PF) from Upland HS, who grabbed their attention two weekends ago in a game in which Williams did a tremendous job against Travon Bryant. Keith also confirmed that DeMarcus Williams will have his home visit with Coach Lavin this Saturday afternoon in Upland between games at the Pump Fall Premier Tournament.
