fullcourt press reminder

Yesterday we posted a reminder for this Friday's Fullcourt Press 1999 Fall Showcase, which at that time was going to be a series of 5 individual games (soph, junior, two seniors and a JUCO game). We published the anticipated rosters, but admittedly, some of the names were mostly conjecture at that point.

Well, tonight, Dinos faxed us the real schedules and rosters for the games. There may be minor changes, but for the most part, these rosters are complete. The event will now feature just four games (the junior college game has been eliminated) and the start has been moved back to 5:00 p.m. The games are still at Long Beach City College but now you'll have another hour to get there. The Long Beach City College Gym is located just off of Lakewood Avenue & Carson Street in Long Beach.

Long Beach City College is located, as we said just north of the 405 Freeway near the intersection of Carson Street and Lakewood Blvd. From the 405, take Lakewood North past the airport. Turn right at Carson Street, and then turn into the driveway just north of the gym, between the tennis courts, and you'll find plenty of parking.
