4 "D"-Stars Labor Day Tournament
Set For Sept. 3-6 --(Aug. 25, 1999)

Contrary to some inaccurate messages posted on the Message Forum recently, (which have all been deleted), the 4 "D"-Stars 9th Annual Boys & Girls Labor Day Weekend Tournament is alive and well, and it has not been "canceled" or "moved." Games will start on September 3 at noon, and will run all through the weekend at various high schools in the South Bay and Lawndale area. The entry fee is $325.00 per team, and there will be several divisions, includign a high school and jv division for boys and girls, all the way down to 9-U through 15-U for the boys, and 5th/6th and 7th/8th for the girls. Each game will be played according to high school CIF rules, stop clock, with four timeouts per game.

This is one of the largest local Labor Day tournaments, and is usually very competitive, with a three game guarantee.
