West Coast All-Stars: Second Session
Junior All-Star Game--(July 17, 1999)

As we said before, we're running behind, so far behind that it feels like we'll have to use the entire month of August just catching up. Since we're sitting here at Durango High in Las Vegas with a little bit of time to kill, we whipped out the computer and decided to at least make a stab at the mountin of data and info on players we've observed. So let's backtrack to last Wednesday and the West Coast All-Stars Junior All-Star game.

The roster had some of the usual suspects, including the Craven twins (who didn't play in order to rest before Vegas), Salim Stoudamire (who also didn't play because he missed the game), Dustin Villapigue (who did play and very well we might add), to several others. The game itself was not much to talk about but, more notable were the absences, including Jack Martinez (6'-8" Jr. PF/SG) who was undergoing an "attitude readjustment" after losing his temper a bit during the last day of games at the camp, and Amaury Fernandez (6'-9" Jr. PF) also from Artesia who was said to be resting before Vegas too. Here's the roster selected by the committee. We know that there were several alternate players selected to play, but they were wearing other jerseys so we were unable to identify some of them. Oh well, here's the roster:
