USC Close To Getting A
Commitment From Farmer?--(July 27, 1999)

Michigan Mustangs' super shooting guard Desmon Farmer (6'-4" Sr. SG) from Flint Northwestern, in Michigan, is reportedly "very close" to giving USC a verbal commitment and has agreed to take an official visit to the campus in the near future.  Several USC coaches, including Henry Bibby and Silvey Dominguez in Vegas, and assistant coach Dave Miller at the Best of Summer were seen in attendance at virtually all of the Mustangs' games.  Farmer is a super-quick, amazing shooter, who can drop the ball in on the run from well-beyond the three point line, or drive to the hoop and finish.  A lot of schools are interested in Farmer, and the Trojans will be in a major war for Farmer.  Stay tuned.
