best of summer brackets

Here's a visual depiction of the Championship bracket at the Best of Summer tournament. The top two teams from each pool, which consisted of four teams each, advanced to the Championship Bracket. The bottom two teams simply were guaranteed another game, but such is life when you have a 92 team tournament being played on five courts in only 5 days; add another court and there's room for two full brackets, where everyone can play for a championship game. . . ahh, there's always next year. In any event, this was an exciting and well played tournament, which was, as you can see, won by DC Assault, which beat QBL in the title game yesterday afternoon, 61-56. We'll have some team and player reports up shortly. Stay tuned.
