Ventura Coaches Association Tournament--(June 17, 1999)

The Ventura County Coaches Association will hold it's first annual boys' summer tournament June 25-26 at Agoura High School. The 16 team field includes: Westlake, Agoura, Santa Paula, Rio Mesa, Royal, Channel Islands, Hueneme, Newbury Park, Chatsworth, El Camino Real, Kennedy, Grant, and San Fernando. As of 6/15, three Junior Varsity teams, Westlake, Agoura, and Newbury Park are scheduled to fill in, and thus there are still two openings left in the tournament, so if there are any schools out there who would like to play that weekend who aren't already booked into a tournament, give Agoura High's Coach Bill Sanchez a call, or drop an e-mail to Gary Grayson, Westlake High's coach at graysonk@vcss.k12.ca.us.

We don't have the schedules, or the bracketing, and hopefully either coach Grayson or coach Sanchez will send them along in the next day or two so we can see who's playing who,  where,  and when.
