Corrections Re: Ventura County
Player Signings--(June 16, 1999)

Yesterday when we wrote about the Ventura-Santa Barbara All-Star game results, we noted that several players were still "unsigned."   While that's true, we got at least one, and maybe two or more player-sigings wrong.   First, as noted on the message forum, we got an e-mail from Michael Goldman's father indicating that, despite reports to the contrary, Glendale College is not among the schools currently recruiting Michael, who will probably go the JUCO route.

Second, Jake DeGennaro, who we also identified as "unsigned" will in fact attend Lewis and Clark in Oregon and will play basketball there.  Brian Polen is very interested in California Lutheran University, but whether they are returning the affection is still an unknown.  Brian averaged close to 18 ppg this past season, and he's also one of the best rebounders in county.
