Jim Williamson Selected As New
Head Coach At Loyola--(May 25, 1999)
This was actually announced about a week ago in the media, but for some reason, we were a little slow in picking it up: Former St. Monica High School assistant basketball coach Jim Williamson has been named head varsity basketball coach at Loyola High, according to Mariners coach Scott McDowell. Williamson replaces Alex Acosta at the noted private school located near downtown Los Angeles. Williamson played guard at Loyola Marymount and was a first-team All-CIF player at South Torrance High.
