Horizon's Wayne Bernard
Signs With Davidson--(May 7, 1999)

Last fall we reported that Wayne Bernard (6'-3" Sr. SG/SF) of Horizon High School in San Diego had verbally committed to Davidson College in North Carolina.  The San Diego Union Tribune is now reporting that the All-County third-team basketball player has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Davidson. Bernard averaged 14.3 points for the 25-3Panthers, and was instrumental in their deep run into the Southern Regional playoffs.

Congratulations to Wayne and to Davidson on getting a great player.
