Rockfish Spring League Schedule
For Saturday, April 3--(April 2, 1999)

Rockfish Spring League is back in action after a one-week hiatus during the NCAA non-evaluation period.  It's questionable how many guys will show tomorrow, given the holiday weekend, and we're already pretty certain that Belmont Shore, which is scheduled to play the Swordfish at 9:00 a.m. won't be there because they're playing in Las Vegas at the Nike Las Vegas Easter Classic, so Dave and Mark, if you're reading this, you ought to schedule another opponent for the Swordfish. . .

This week in Rockfish also marks the week where most of the "outside" i.e., non-Rockfish, teams get two games instead of just one.  So if you want to check out Inland, BWBA or the Pump N Run teams, you'll have two opportunities, at least according to the schedules (again, no telling who's in town and who isn't).

Here's the schedule for tomorrow, Saturday, April 3, 1999

9:00 a.m. Belmont Shore vs. Swordfish
10:30 a.m. Inland vs. Belmont Shore
12:00 p.m. BWBA vs. Pump N Run
1:30 p.m. BWBA vs. Hammerheads
3:00 p.m. Inland vs. IEBP
4:30 p.m. Orcas vs. Marlins
6;00 p.m. IEBP vs. Tiger Sharks
7:30 p.m. Pump N Run vs Barracudas

All Games are at Los Angeles City College, which is located on Vermont Avenue, just north of the Hollywood Freeway.  From the Hollywood (101) take the Vermont exit and head north. You'll see the athletic field on your left, and the gym is just west of the running track.  Be sure to bring plenty of quarters for the parking meters unless you enjoy paying parking tickets.

There will be no games on Sunday, April 4, 1999 because of the Easter holiday.  The games will resume on April 10 and 11 with the Rockfish Spring League Playoffs on Saturday, April 10, and on Sunday April 11, RSL will hold the Semifinal game at 9:30 a.m. , a "Top 48 All-Star Game" at 11:30 a.m., the RSL Championship at 1:00 p.m., yet another "Top 24 All Star Game" at 3:30 p.m. , and finally, a 5:30 p.m. Frosh-Soph All-Star Game.

And at the risk of being redundant, here are the rosters for the RSL, and the players you're likely to see tomorrow:
