Malcolm Norrington Gets Varsity
Coaching Job At Reseda High--(April 8, 1999)
Malcolm Norrington, who coached the
freshmen boys' basketball team at Crespi High School was hired as the new boys' varsity
coach at Reseda High School after five-year head coach David Enowitz resigned earlier this
year. Enowitz, a Grant High graduate, who was an assistant at Grant for several
years under his former coach, Howie Levine, also coached several Team Los Angeles Maccabi
basketball teams, including the boys' Maccabi team which won a bronze medal in
Pittsburgh two summers ago, and which featured several players on this year's Los Angeles
team which will compete in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Norrington is a graduate of Cal State
Northridge and attended Garden and Verbum Dei High Schools. Norrington is also one
of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, a good coach, and a certified high school
official who has been working the Valley CIF games for several years, and also referees
games regularly at the Rockfish Spring League at Los Angeles City College.
