Lots Of Action On The Kentera
Show XTRA 690--(April 16, 1999)

Tonight, at 11:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 1999, Phil Gatton will be on the "Coach" John Kentera show on XTRA 690 am . Phil will be talking about the 3rd Annual Dada Classic, which will take place this Sunday, April 18, 1999, at UCLA Pauley Pavilion at 3:00 p.m. (the All-California game) and at 5:00 p.m. (the West v. U.S. game). We spoke with Phil briefly this morning, and he told us that most of the players are starting to arrive, but he did mention something about Kareem and "his prom" back in Missouri. . . hey, that's the same thing we heard about JaRon Rush last year who was supposed to play but never made it out. But this time, with brother JaRon here at UCLA, we're betting that the younger Mr. Rush will show along with the rest of the national talent on the rosters. Guess we'll find out tomorrow at the player luncheon in Long Beach.

One more Kentera Show note: Next Wednesday night, David Pump of Double Pump is scheduled to be on the Kentera show talking about the adidas Double Pump All-California All-Star game which will take place on April 24 at Cal State Dominguez Hills, and he'll also talk about recruiting and high school and college players in general.
