Keith Kincade Recruiting Update:  
Not A Volunteer Yet, Will Visit UConn--(April 21, 1999)

Keith Kincade (6'-6" Sr. SF/SG) from Compton Dominguez just returned from his official visit to West Virginia where he reportedly was offered a scholarship.  It was widely rumored (on various sites around the internet and here at SoCalHoops) that he would commit to the Mountaineers if offered, but apparently that didn't happen.  While he is still mulling over whether to sign with West Virginia, and considering the opportunities for immediate playing time that the situation there presents, he has elected not to sign until he takes at least one more official visit, possibly two, including one which is being arranged with UConn.  As we reported a few days ago, New Mexico is also regetting involved, and Keith may also visit there as well.

The allure of UConn is substantial, but West Virginia in our view would seem to offer more immediate opportunities;  regardless though of where Keith decides to sign, with West Virginia, UConn and New Mexico in the mix, he really can't go wrong whatever he decides, and he'll get a great education and have a first-rate basketball experience with some great coaching and surround himself with top-quality players.
