3rd Annual Dada All-Star Classic:
Lunch & Another Reminder--(April 17, 1999)
We're going to be at a player

players on the U.S. team, players like Curtis Borchardt 6'-11" Eastlake HS
(Stanford), Andrew Gooden 6'-9" El Cerrito HS (Kansas), Chris Osborne 6'-10"
Westchester HS (ASU), Justin Davis 6'-8" St. Joseph, Alameda (Stanford), Donnell

Tito Maddox 6'-4" Compton HS (unsigned), Kevin Gaines 6'-4" Clark HS, Las Vegas,

Cheyenne HS, Las Vegas, NV (Georgetown), Brent Darby 6'-1" River Rouge HS, MI (Ohio
State), and Marlon Parmer 6'-2" Verbum Dei HS, CA (Unsigned)
If you listened to Phil Gatton on the John
"The Coach" Kentera show last night on XTRA 690 Sports Radio, then you know that
Joe Shipp will be returning from his visit at Cal to play in the game, and Marlon Parmer,
who was at Michigan for the past few days will also be flying home for the game. Whether
all of the other players from other states show is something we'll find out today,
and it appears that the only two who are questionable right now are Brent Darby and
possibly Kareem Rush (something about a prom again).
We'll post up what we learn at the player
luncheon later today. In the meantime, here's yet another reminder for the umpy-umpteenth
time: The 3rd Annual Dada All-Star Classic games will be held tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
(All Southern Cal game), and at 5:00 p.m. (U.S. v. West) at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. Parking will probably be the
usual $5, but that's something that's up to UCLA. The doors to Pauley will be open at 2:00
p.m. so get their early because it's open seating (except for the press row, and if you
get there early enough you'll see those sitting their fighting over the best seats :-).
See you there.
