Yet Another Dada Moment: The U.S.
& West Rosters Again--(April 15, 1999)

If we've put these up before, why are we doing it again? Well, because it seems that the changes just keep coming,  and since the last time we posted these there have been a couple more additions to each team. We're not sure now who is off from the old rosters, but Phil Gatton tells us that this will be the last time the rosters change.  Really, he swears it's true.  And if you doubt it, he'll be the first to tell you this Friday night at 11:00 p.m. on the John Kintera show on XTRA 690.   If you're in the Valley (like we are) you'll have to get XTRA from Broadcast.com, which is not half bad if you've got a reasonably fast computer (and who doesn't these days?).

In any event, the U.S. v. West All-Star game will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday April 18, and will follow the all-Southern California All-Star game which takes place at 3:00 p.m.  Both games are at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion; tickets are $8.00 and $6.00 for students.  Here are the new final rosters:

Along with the players, there will also be some pretty fun music acts at halftime from Priority Records, and there will also be a Daewoo Half-Court Halftime shot, and participants will get the chance to drive home in a new Daewoo a not-half-bad-looking Korean version of a Toyota.

There's also going to be a luncheon on Saturday with the players at a restaurant in Long Beach for those who want to become event donors.   If you're interested in becoming a donor/sponsor of the event, contact Dinos Trigonis at 562-984-8355 or e-mail Phil Gatton at  PGatton373@aol.com.
